Supporting our customers through Coronavirus
We have plants, you have time, come to our shop, it's now all online.
To protect the safety of both our customers and our staff, and in line with government guidelines, we will be open from 10am until 4pm from Wednesday 13th May but will be closed every Monday apart from next Monday the 25th May which is a bank holiday. In view of the bank holiday we will be open next Monday but will be closed on Tuesday 26th. There will be restrictions on entry and social distancing will play a key part in us remaining open. Please be patient with us as keeping us all safe is our key objective. The restricted hours are in place to give our team time to water and restock safely before and after we are open to the public.
Please be reassured that our website is still open for online orders. We will be offering local deliveries at reduced rates and can arrange standard deliveries and pallet deliveries on request.
Please note, we are now offering a click and collect service although we still strongly recommend that you use our reduced priced delivery service as the safest option. If you place an order and wish to collect please note the following: Minimum plant orders of £30 for click and collect. Please wait for us to call you to say that your order is ready for collection before turning up at the gates.

* We currently have a delay on orders of 1-4 days. We are asking that all orders are placed online, so we can process these as fairly as possible. When we get to your order, we will call you to ask if you'd like to add compost, vegetables or bedding plants (as these are not listed online). We will also take any payment for delivery or order adjustments over the phone.
** Our phone lines are EXTREMELY busy, so if you have an enquiry, please email: info@langthorns.com, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Loyalty cards can still be used online, when added to the your account details.
Your needs are important to us, and we will do everything we can to get you what you need at the best possible prices.
Delivery is automatically calculated on our website for Parcel Force parcels, however you can bypass this by clicking 'I will collect from Langthorns'. We are running reduced van deliveries through this period, which can be paid over the phone when we collect your order. Approximate costs are:
Dunmow area - £10
Bishops Stortford/Braintree area - £20
Harlow/Chelmsford/Saffron Walden area - £30
These are approximate costs and a price will be given to you when we contact you. These deliveries can accommodate trees, shrubs, fantastic perennials and compost etc, so make your order work for you. Why not group together with a few neighbours and share the delivery costs (in cases like this, the delivery will be dropped at one address).
Our gardens will be our havens.
Stay well and safe, and thanks again for your continued patience during this very difficult time. We look forward to welcoming you back over the coming weeks will of course be the first to react should government advice change.
