Acer palmatum Ryusen (0.9m standard) (7lt)

Beautiful weeping form of Japanese maple with palmate green leaves that turn colour to fiery reds, yellows and oranges in autumn. These have been top grafted onto 40cm stems so will achieve a 10-15 year height and spread to around 1.2-1.5m. Winged red seedpods follow the spring flowers on mature specimens. Humus rich neutral to acid soil sheltered from harsh winter winds in dapped shade is best.
