Large pink flowers turning deeper with age in great profusion cover the needle like dark foliage through spring and early summer and often again in autumn. Well drained soil in a sheltered position in sun. Height and spread to around 3m x 2m. Manuka honey is produced from nectar collected from Leptospermum plants.
