Zanthoxylum simulans (7lt)

Chinese pepper Tree. Small yellowish green flowers are followed by clusters of jet black fruits encased in red seedpods. Leaves and seedpods very aromatic and used in cooking as is the bark. Small thorns on th branches grow with the plant becoming huge thorns on the trunks. Makes an unusual specimen small tree with a height and spread to around 4m. Rare.
