Grayswood Hill is a form of Ermans Birch with lovely peeling white bark tinged pink with elongated chestnut coloured lenticels making a striking specimen tree with a height and spread to 15m x 8m when mature. Yellow, brown catkins in spring. Veined, diamond shaped glossy green leaves turn a rich yellow in the autumn and cast a dappled shade through the summer. Any soil in sun or light shade. Especially effective when planted in small groups.
