Eryngium x zabelii Violetta (9cm)

Sea Holly. A perennial with spiny, dark green, basal leaves. Branched stems  hold cone-shaped blue flowers surrounded by huge intense metallic blue bracts. Spectacular when in flower and good for picking and drying. Well drained soil in sun. Height and spread to around 80cm x 40cm. Try mising with grasses.
