Lombardy Poplar. Vigorous, narrow tree with greeny catkins in spring. Dark green leaves turn yellow in autumn. Height 30m spread 5m. Makes a superb windbreak for exposed areas. Any soil in sun or light shade. Avoid planting near drains.
