The Maidenhair Tree. Ginkgo trees date back to before the time of the dinosaurs! Autumn Gold is a select form chosen for it's remarkable golden autumn colour. Leathery fan shaped green leaves turn a wonderful golden yellow in the autumn. Any fertile, well drained soil in sun or part shade. Slow growing with an eventual height to between 15 and 20m x 8m. Suited to any sized garden as it is slow growing and as and when it gets too big it responds well to crown reduction pruning in winter.
