Typhinium venosum (1.5lt)

Voodoo lily. One of the hardiest of all the aroids this spectacular and unusual plant prefers a humus rich, free draining site in part shade. Tropical looking leaves with cream and brown blotched stems can reach 40-90cm tall. Once this plant reaches maturity it has a spectacular flower in early summer with a purple and cream spathe and a maroon spadix. Late into leaf in late spring/early summer. Rare. AKA Sauromatum venosum.
