Upright mid green leaves turning reddish brown from mid to late summer form graceful clumps. Shorter than most panicums with a height and spread to around 0.9m x 50cm. From mid to late summer stems hold panicles of tiny red/brown flowers. A superb choice for late summer interest. Try planting in drifts mixed with late flowering perennials such as Echinacea or aster. Any well drained soil in sun or light shade.
