Cornus kousa chinensis China Girl (5lt)

An improved form of kousa chinensis. China Girl grows to around 6m x 5m.  In late spring to early summer it has small green flowers that are surrounded by large white petal like bracts that turn pink as they age. In hot summers these are followed by strawberry like fruits. The broadly ovate pointed dark green leaves turn orange red in autumn too. Hardy and reliable suitable for borders or pots. Prefers fertile neutral to acid soil in full sun or dappled shade.
