Found by Nick Macer on Tai Con Linh Mountain in North Vietnam this is an exciting new species. Forms an evergreen small tree to around 4-6m with large palmate leaves consisting of usually 7-8 fingers. Young leaves appear dusted with bronze and mature green with silvery brown undersides. Perfect for the tropical feel garden. Height and spread to between 2 and 4m high by 1-2m wide. Free draining soil in a sheltered sunny to partially shaded spot is best. Hardy to between -5 and -10c.
