Glossy obovate leaves are a bright mixture of red, gold and green tones during spring and summer turning a more fiery red in autumn. Bushy habit growing to about 1.5m by 1.2m when mature. Needs well drained soil in a sheltered sunny spot. As low as -10c and it will struggle especially if it is wet. Worth a try as this is a truly stunning shrub.
