The sales area is clearly laid out by plant type; herbaceous perennials, shrubs, fruit bushes and trees, ornamental trees, grasses, alpines, bamboos, herbs, conservatory plants, roses, climbers, conifers and hedging, seasonal bedding plants as well as dedicated areas for plants that thrive in shady conditions. We also offer a good range of tools, pots and compost.
The Langthorns team are on hand 6 days a week to assist gardeners of all levels, so if you need help choosing the right plants for your garden, advice on plant care and maintenance, getting the soil just right or plant health we can help you. Our opening hours are Tuesday-Sunday 9am-5pm and closed on Mondays unless it is a bank holiday when we are open on the Monday and closed on the Tuesday. We are always closed on Easter Sunday and open Easter Monday. Please check google for opening times as we keep these regularly updated.

From the A120, follow the brown signs taking the B1256 exit towards Takeley/Thaxted/Gt Dunmow.
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the B1256
