Rare form of himalayan birch discovered by Roy Lancaster in Nepal. Striking, peeling coppery orange bark with dark green leaves that turn yellow in autumn. Yellow-brown catkins produced in spring. Height and spread to around 18m x 8m. Grows in any well drained soil in sun or part shade.
