Racemes of chalice shaped rose red flowers offset beautifully by the glossy dark green leaves. Flowers for a long period from midsummer through to mid autumn.  Best in a sunny position in fertile, well drained soil. Makes an excellent evergreen hedge. Height and spread to around 2.5m. Responds well to clipping and good fopr coastal sites.
