A bushy shrub to around 4m x 2m with glossy, dark green leaves that are a rich caramel colour when young. Clusters of small slightly fragrant white flowers in early summer, followed by red fruit ripening to black that birds love! Looks good all year round. A lovely shrub for a sunny or lightly shaded area sheltered from strong winds. Any fertile and well drained soil. Unusual.
