British native commonly known as field scabious Bluish lilac pincushion flowers are produced over hirsute, green leaves in summer. A must have plant for the wildlife friendly border. Superb for attracting pollinating insects especially bees and butterflies. Height and spread to around 1.2m x 30cm. Any well drained soil in sun or light shade. Short lived but seeds freely.
