Large, lightly scented maroon flowers are produced mainly in May-June with some repeat flowers through summer, above glossy green leaves. Full sun or light shade. Well drained, fertile soil. Height and spread to around 3m x 2m. This is a rare and beautiful garden shrub for any well drained, fertile soil in sun or part shade.
