Male form. Red buds from October to March look great through the winter and open in March to well scented white flowers. Neutral to acid soil in sun/part shade. Compact habit with a height and spread to around 1m. Ideal as a specimen container plant or stand alone shrub. Equally good as a low hedge/screen. Makes a great christmas present.
