Kalopanax septemlobus (2lt)

Large glossy, maple like green leaves turn yellow/red in autumn. Small, spherical white flowers in large clusters appear in late summer, followed by black fruits in autumn. A rare and special member of the Araliaceae family that has a spiny trunk and grows to a small to medium sized tree. Humus rich soil in sun to light shade sheltered from strong winds. Hardy to -15c or colder.
