An upright spreading shrub with narrow, velvety, dark green leaves. Flattened flowerheads of purple-blue in the centre surrounded by white or lilac-rose flowers from late summer. Attractive brown peeling bark. Height and spreda to around 2m. Best in fertile, well drained soil in light shade.
