An unusual sub shrub from Brazil that has an upright form with curious, leafless, winged green stems to around 1m tall x 0.5m wide. In late summer little white pom pom like flowers appear on the stems that are great for attracting pollinating insects. Very sheltered location in full sun or bring into a greenhouse for winter. Good for coastal locations and reputed to be hardy to -5c.
