Calvescent, Chinese scented winter Hazel. From late winter to early spring clusters of scented yellow tassel flowers hang seductively from the branches. Any neutral to acid soil in sun or shade. Ribbed ovate leaves are red tinged when new maturing to a deep green. Height and spread to around 2-3m x 2-4m. Hard to find and sought after. AKA Corylopsis platypetala.
