Blue flowers with creamy stamens show up beautifully against the golden foliage. Flowers March-May followed by attractive seedheads. All alpina flowers have pointed petals and slightly pendulous flowers. Height and spread to around 4m x 2m.  Any soil in sun or part shade, but provide shading for the roots. Prune group 1.
