Sturdy stems to 75cm tall carry numerous rounded flower heads filled with trumpet shaped violet purple flowers with a darker central stripe from mid to late summer. Strap like leaves with purple staining at the base of the leaves and flower stem. AGM variety that is worthy of a place in every garden. Sheltered sunny site in fertile, well drained soil or in pots is best. Hardy to -10°c.
