Traditional Filbert with excellent texture and flavour in clusters of 2 to 5 nuts. Upright shrub with pendulous yellow catkins in late winter/early spring. Height and spread 3m. Kentish Cob is partially self fertile but best planted with another variety. Pollintated by Cosford, Gunslebert and Halls Giant as well as wild Hazel. Any moist free draining soil in sun or part shade. Harvest September.
