Nanking cherry. Unusual and showy bush whose branches are covered in pretty white flowers in spring followed by edible cherries in summer that can be eaten straight from the tree or made into jams, puddings etc. Flavour is good and somewhere between sweet and tart. Height and spread to around 2.5m once mature.  Any fertile, free draining soil in sun to light shade.
