Tree anemone. This plant makes a lovely shaped shrub upto 8ft (2.5m) high and about 6ft (2m) across. It can be kept smaller by harder pruning. Likes a sheltered well drained spot in the sun. The flowers are pure white with pronounced yellow stamens 2.5ins (6cms) across. Flowers from may to july. Glossy dark evergreen leaves make this a very attractive shrub.
