New to us in 2025 Magic Pillow is a low growing form of mountain Hydrangea reaching a height to around 60cm with a spread to 1.5m. Pillow like mounds of serrated edged fresh green foliage turn turn a rich burgundy in autumn. Dependant on soil ph large lace cap flowers in pink (alkaline soils) or blue (acid soils) cover the bush in summer. Good for pots or borders. Best in humus rich soil in part shade.
