False Indigo. New introduction bred in the USA. Tall spires of buds open a soft yellow and as they age turn raspberry pink giving a bicoloured effect. The flowers are offset beautifully by the glaucous green foliage. Attractive seed pods follow in late summer that look good right into winter. Prune back  in early spring. Height and spread to around 0.9-1.2m x 0.5m. Deer and rabbit resistant too!
