A recent introduction from China with distinct foliage in that the pinnate foliage composed of spiny leaflets curl downwards creating a unique effect. Hardy evergreen shrub that grows happily in sun or shade with an estimated height and spread to around 3m x 2m. Racemes of pendulous yellow flowers from autumn to winter followed by blue/black fruits. Rare.
