New to us in 2025 this is an easy to grow very florific clematis with deep velvety red blooms that produces both semi double and single flowers throughout the summer if regularly deadheaded. Prune group 3 so cut hard back in winter. Great for training up obelisks, fences or scrambling through shrubs. Fertile, deep soil in sun or part shade. Height and spread to around 2.5m x 2m.
