Milk tree. A rare woody member of the Euphorbia family and the only one in it's genus. Yellowish green flowers in late spring followed by distinct triangular fruits in autumn. However the main attraction to this plant is its stunning autumn colour. One of the best of all trees for scarlet, yellow and orange autumn colours. Fabulous, slow growing tree that prefers humus rich neutral to acid soil and grows particularly well near water. Grown from seed collected from the grounds of Exbury gardens in Hampshire. Height and spread to around 4m x 3m in 10 years.
