Great for low hedges or as a specimen. Foliage similar to Yew but a dusky green to plum colour. New growth is salmon pink to yellow in colour turning rusty red in winter. In late Autumn and winter the foliage turns to a deeper plum colour. A useful evergreen with a height and spread to around 1m in 10 years.  Prefers sun or light shade and is tolerant of most soil types except very alkaline. Easy and hardy.
