Erect habit with toothed mid green leaves and tall spikes holding four rows of hinged lavender pink flowers from July to September. Any fertile soil in sun or light shade. A compact variety height and spread to around 45cm x 45cm and forms a neat clump. Commonly known as the obedience plant, Physostegia are popular with florists due to their hinged flowers.
