A palm-like shrub or small tree with sword-like leaves coloured bright pink and deep purple burgundy. Small, fragrant, white flowers may be produced in rounded clusters in summer and followed by white-blue fruits. Well drained soil in a sunny spot sheltered from strong winds. Height and spread slowly to around 2.5m x 1m.
