Broadly lanceolate deep green leaves make a perfect backdrop to the large trusses of deep red buds that open to ruby red flared flowers with frilly edges. Dark brown spotting in the flowers that appear in late May to June. Height and spread in 10 years to around 1.5m. Free draining humus rich lime free soil in part shade is best. Perfect for pots.
