Spectacular new variety of dogwood. Leaves are a very deep, dark purple appearing almost black. In Autumn the leaves drop to reveal bright red stems for winter. A valuable plant for all year interest and easy to grow in pots or borders. Eventual height and spread to around 2m. Prune in spring to ensure winter stem colour is fresh and vibrant each winter. Try planting next to Salix udensis Golden sunshine for dramatic effect. White flowers in May/June.
