Purple love grass. Dense clump forming grass with dull green, narrow leaves. This plant comes into it's own from mid to late summer when a mass of airy reddish purple flowers completely cover the plant giving a cloud effect.  Height and spread to around 60cm. Any well drained soil in sun to light shade. Spectacular in drifts.
