Kurt Krammer deliberately crossed E. arborea with E. carnea and selected a choice seedling that is now Ammerland and has received the AGM from the RHS. Growth is like a tree heath with a height and spread to around 1m x 60cm and white tubular flowers that fade to a lilac pink in spring. Deep green needles look attractive all year round. Prune to shape after flowering if needed.
