Dark brown velvety buds open to gorgeous, scented lilac pink flowers in spring and sporadically again in autumn. Remains evergreen in all but very harsh winters. Small tree/bush with a height and spread to 2-3m. Best in a sheltered spot in neutral to acid soil in sun or part shade. Raised in New Zealand by Mark Jury. Very special.
