Rockii Hybrid group of shrub paeony are crossbred from the robust wild Paeonia rockii and suffruticosa types resulting in large single flower varieties with numerous colour variations, showy basal spots and intense aromas. Rockii-Hybrids grow much faster and more vigorously. All have finely cut foliage, have a strong tendency to form basal shoots and flower around April/May. This variety has large flowers with white ruffled petals with a dark purple blotch at the base of the petals and golden stamens. Height and spread to around 1.5m-1.8m. Best in humus rich soil in sun or part shade.
