Rubus squarrosus (10lt)
Leafless bush Lawyer
£24.90
One for the collectors garden. This unusual form of rubus has attractive short white spines that compliment the dark green stems. It is shy to flower and often grows without leaves but the leaves are hand shaped and the flowers white followed by yellowish red fruit. Grown as a stand alone shrub it makes a tangled mass of pretty stems to around 1.2m high and wide but can be grown up trees or shrube where the stems can reach 8-10m long. Fairly hardy and tolerant but best in a sheltered site. Rare.
