Hedychium Devon Cream (1lt)

Large lance shaped green leaves are arranged alternately on stiff upright stems that can grow to around 1.5m tall. In late summer spicily scented creamy yellow flowers are borne in terminal clusters.  This variety is surprisinlly hardy and should be fine left outside in well drained fertile soil and given a deep autumn mulch.  In very exposed areas lift and store the rhizomes during winter.
