Known for its superb autumn colour and vine shaped leaves. Acer vitifolium is slow to grow at first becoming a moderate grower as it establishes. Eventual height and spread to around 5m x 4m. Leaves turn fantastic shades of orange, yellow and red in autumn. Autumn colour is best on slightly acidic soils. Humus rich neutral to slightly acidic soils in sun or part shade.
