Stiff hirsute stems hold masses of tiny pinky red flowers above large chestnut like bronze leaves that mature to a  greeny bronze in summer, then chocolatey green in autumn. Height and spread to around 1.2m. Humus rich moisture retentive soil in dappled shade.
