Corktree. Award winning, self-fertile form of spindle that has unusual corky winged bark, an attractive winter feature. Small greenish white flowers in early summer are followed by large red seedcases that open to reveal orange seeds in Autumn/winter. Spectacular red autumn foliage colour. Happy in any fertile soil. Height and spread to around 2m x 2.5m. Slow to moderate growth rate.
