An unusual and garden worthy fastigiate form of oak eventually growing to around 15m x 8m. Attractive deep green leaves, turning bronze and yellow before falling in the autumn. Yellowish green catkins in spring followed by acorns in late summer. Grows in any fertile well drained soil in sun or part shade. Rare.
