Huge fragrant, goblet shaped flowers in spring. Petals are pink backed and white inside. As they open the weight of these flowers cause them to flop to one side. A spectacular sight when in full flower. A sheltered site in neutral to acid soil is best. Height and spread to around 4m x 3m after 10 years. Raised by Phil Savage (Michigan) in 1989 by crossing Magnolia soulangeana 'Wada's Picture' x Magnolia sprengeri var. Diva
